Crafted in tribute to the Year of the Horse, this ultra-prestige release expresses elegance, vitality and noble energy, qualities symbolised by the horse and reflected in the philosophy of Maison Martell.

A Masterpiece Inspired by Celestial Symbolism

For this edition, Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud selected a rare composition that includes exceptional eaux-de-vie from past Years of the Horse, chosen for their vibrancy, depth and expressive power. This bespoke assemblage preserves the harmony, finesse and aromatic radiance that define L’Or de Jean Martell.

The decanter, crafted in collaboration with Baccarat, is a work of art in itself:

• hand-blown crystal,
• adorned with 19-carat gold,
• crowned with a ruby-red crystal stopper sculpted as a horse’s head,
• presented in a red collector case decorated with horse motifs and auspicious symbols.

Only 500 individually numbered decanters of this edition exist worldwide, making it one of the rarest Martell releases ever offered.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Supple, smooth and luminous, with notes of honey, candied fruit and delicate florals. A subtle expression of long aging and deep maturity.

Palate:
Vibrant and expansive. Red fruits and blackcurrant emerge first, followed by gentle sweetness, remarkable volume and a long, complex finish, echoing the energy and noble character of the horse.
