Introduced in 2018, Hennessy XXO (Extra Extra Old) marks a new chapter in the House of Hennessy’s history. Crafted from an exceptionally old selection of eaux-de-vie, this expression pushes the boundaries of aging, offering remarkable richness, structure and complexity.

A New Level of Maturity

Hennessy XXO is composed of eaux-de-vie aged for at least 14 years, with some significantly older, carefully selected from Hennessy’s reserves. Extended maturation in oak barrels gives this cognac its deep colour, bold aromatic profile and powerful yet controlled structure, a refined evolution beyond XO.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
Dark amber with copper and mahogany reflections: dense, intense and luminous.

Nose:
Rich and expressive. Notes of dried fruits, figs and dates intertwine with cocoa, licorice, warm spices and hints of well-seasoned oak.

Palate:
Full-bodied and concentrated. Layers of candied fruit, dark chocolate, nutmeg and subtle pepper unfold with impressive depth, supported by a velvety texture and mature tannins.

Finish:
Very long and persistent, leaving lingering impressions of spice, oak and dried fruit.
