For Lunar New Year 2025 — the Year of the Snake, Maison Hennessy teamed up with renowned fashion and textile designer Shuting Qiu to create a stunning limited-edition release of its iconic VSOP Cognac. This edition blends Hennessy’s heritage of craftsmanship with Qiu’s contemporary aesthetic, paying homage to Chinese cultural motifs and the symbolism of the snake. 

Design & Concept

Inspired by traditional Chinese brocades, embroidery and jacquard fabrics, Shuting Qiu reimagines the VSOP bottle and packaging with bold reds, floral prints and serpentine textures that honor both cultural legacy and renewal key themes of the Year of the Snake. The striking design transforms the classic VSOP carafe into a collectible work of art and a festive centerpiece.

While the design is unique to this edition, the liquid inside is the signature Hennessy VSOP blend, known for its balance, harmony and smooth complexity:
