These spirits have been matured for decades some for up to 50 years in the lowest, most humid cellars of the Château. This long slumber under the thick limestone walls allows the cognac to develop a legendary complexity and the coveted "rancio" Charentais that only half a century of aging can achieve.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: A deep, shimmering mahogany with rich golden and ruby highlights—a visual testament to its long years in oak.

Nose: An opulent and multidimensional bouquet. It opens with the rich, earthy notes of forest floor and sandalwood, followed by a concentrated wave of dried fruits, prunes, and rancio. Delicate hints of cigar box and old leather provide a sophisticated finish to the aroma.
