Purchase Options Cancellation Policy – Cognac Select

1. Scope

This Cancellation Policy applies to all purchase options, including but not limited to:

  • pre-orders,

  • product reservations,

  • limited or numbered editions,

  • optional services linked to a purchase (customization, personalization, special packaging).

By selecting a purchase option on the Cognac Select website, the customer agrees to the terms of this policy.

2. Nature of Purchase Options

Purchase options are binding commitments that allow the customer to secure access to a specific product or service, often in limited quantities or subject to availability.

As such, certain purchase options may be non-refundable and non-cancellable, as clearly indicated at the time of selection.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellation conditions depend on the type of purchase option:

  • Standard purchase options (non-customized, non-limited):
    Cancellation may be requested within 24 hours of confirmation, provided the order has not yet been processed or prepared.

  • Limited editions, pre-orders, or reserved products:
    Once confirmed, these purchase options are non-cancellable and non-refundable, due to limited availability and allocation.

  • Customized or personalized products:
    Any purchase option involving customization or personalization is strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun.

4. Cancellation by Cognac Select

Cognac Select reserves the right to cancel a purchase option in the event of:

  • product unavailability,

  • technical error,

  • force majeure,

  • failure to receive payment.

In such cases, the customer will be fully refunded for the affected purchase option.

5. Refunds

When applicable, refunds will be issued using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after confirmation of cancellation.

No refund will be granted for purchase options clearly identified as non-refundable.

6. Changes to Purchase Options

Requests to modify a purchase option (quantity, delivery address, or selected service) are subject to acceptance by Cognac Select and may not be possible once processing has begun.

7. Governing Law

This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy is governed by French law.
