To celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year — Year of the Snake, Hennessy collaborated with renowned fashion designer Shuting Qiu to create a striking limited-edition release of its classic VSOP Cognac. This edition blends Hennessy’s centuries-old cognac expertise with contemporary artistic expression inspired by traditional Chinese brocades and embroidery. 

Design & Concept

Designer Shuting Qiu reimagined the iconic Hennessy VSOP bottle with vibrant reds, bold colours and intricate floral motifs drawn from Chinese textile art. Serpentine texture, a nod to the Year of the Snake, weave through the design, symbolizing wisdom, transformation and renewal. The result is both a collector’s item and a festive tribute to Lunar New Year traditions.
