Dating back to the nineteenth century, the Hine family shipped select Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie in cask to Bristol, England, where the cool, humid Atlantic climate gently shaped their evolution across years of cellar ageing. The result: cognacs of rare delicacy, defined by their extraordinary lightness, fresh fruit character and subtle floral complexity.

The HINE XO Early Landed revives this tradition for a new generation of collectors. A Limited Edition expression bottled exclusively from Grande Champagne the Premier Cru of the cognac region this XO blends aged eaux-de-vie that carry the unmistakable imprint of Hine's distinctive maturing philosophy: restraint, precision, and the unhurried passage of time.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
A deep, warm amber with burnished golden highlights the colour of cognac at its fullest maturity.

Nose:
Exceptionally light and aromatic: fresh flowers, characteristic orange peel and ripe orchard fruits, with delicate hints of vanilla, dried apricot and a subtle, elegant oakiness.

Palate:
Silky and refined, with candied citrus fruit, honey, hazelnut and quince, lifted by gentle spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and blonde tobacco. Rich and layered without ever feeling heavy.

Finish:
Long, elegant and complex an enduring finish marked by fine spice, dried fruit and the distinctive mineral character of Grande Champagne limestone.
